The artwork of residential school children who attended Alberni Indian Residential School was on display at the Truth and Reconciliation Commission regional event in Victoria. The exhibit was opened on April 12. 47 works were danced into the cleansed space at The Empress Hotel by 47 Nuu-chah-nulth women holding the paintings above their heads. The Nuu-chah-nulth Song was sung, as was the victory song.
