Elementary students from across Vancouver Island came to Port Alberni’s Echo Centre on Friday, May 4 to recognize their local heritage. Put on by the Alberni Valley Museum, the Heritage Fair filled the Echo Centre with history-oriented displays produced by the youngsters, including several projects recognizing the history of Nuu-chah-ulth peoples in the region.
